A few years ago, I mentioned that fact that other countries are introducing new taxes including ‘unrealised capital gains tax’. It is a ‘Wealth Tax’ imposed on its citizens.
Last year this unrealised CGT was defeated in parliament, however I guess this will be back on the table within the next 2 – 3 years.
